The Aware Super owned operator of 34 retirement villages, which bought the remaining 30% of the Brisbane-based provider from founders Mark Bindon and Franco De Pasquale in August 2023, has appointed a new CEO to replace Mark.
Christine was employed as Mirvac's Director, Land Lease, previously being General Manager, Operations. She has worked for Mirvac for nearly 15 years in two separate spells.
"Very much looking forward to working with the Oak Tree team, Aware Super and Barings Real Estate Australia on the next exciting chapter for the business," she said on Linkedin.
Aware Super' s acquisition includes a development pipeline of more than 1,000 independent living units across the four states, in addition to the 1,500 that are now operational.
