$56.5M Botanic Retirement Village proposed for CW Group’s master planned estate in Highfields, Toowoomba

Damien Gwynne, Founder and Managing Director of CW Group, is developing Botanic, a master planned residential estate at Highfields for 600 homes, with over 30ha of natural flora and fauna habitat, within a 90ha site.

In addition, his Bird in Hand 3 is behind plans lodged with Toowoomba Regional Council to build 231 single-storey manufactured homes across a 10.667ha site in Botanic.

A proposed community hub would sit on a 4008msq central lot.

Highfields, 14km north of Toowoomba and 109km from the Queensland capital, is a mecca for retirement living. GemLife Highfields is selling its sixth stage and in July the land lease community developer, operator and owner announced the launch of GemLife Highfield Heights. Carinity Brownesholme, a co-located retirement village and aged care home, is in Highfields. In
April, Ingenia Lifestyles lodged plans for a 565-home land lease resort in the same locality.
