75% of Reside Communities’ Fairway Carindale Stage One sold as demand for new villages continues

Construction has started on Reside Communities’ new vertical retirement community Fairway Carindale, which is being built alongside the Pacific Golf Club, just 10km east of Brisbane’s CBD.

75% of the first stage has been sold off the plan. The master-planned 191 one-, two- and three-bedroom units will occupy 1.5ha within the 53ha of green open space owned by the golf club. There will be a penthouse collection across seven low-rise buildings. The deal with the golf club will also see a new clubhouse, practice and golf leisure facilities built on the site.

“We have been overwhelmed with positive feedback and early interest from both club members and the general public, which highlights the strong need for quality retirement living options in the area,” said Reside Communities’ CEO Glen Brown, adding all three-bedroom residences are sold out.

“This is truly a fully integrated retirement and sport and recreation community.”

Brisbane-based Reside Communities’ sales figures show the demand for new retirement village sites.

“We have also experienced strong, ongoing sales enquiry across our other communities, including at Esperance Hope Island, where buyers are referring friends from within their social networks,” said Glen.

“We expect this strong sales momentum to continue as construction progresses at each of the four communities.”

Reside Communities, founded in 2017, has the following developments in Southeast Queensland under construction:

  • Esperance Hope Island: more than 70% sold off the plan with Stage One being built; Completion: 2022.
  • Brookland Robertson: 30% of one-, two- and three-bedroom units presold. Prices from $395,000 to $690,000. Completion: mid-2022.
  • Samford Grove: Waiting list for final stage with Stage One and Two home releases sold out. Only four apartments still to be sold. Completion: early 2022.
