The appointments were made at the Annual General Meeting of the Aged and Community Care Providers' Association (ACCPA) on Tuesday (19 November).
Clare is CEO of Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc and has 30 years' experience in the health and aged care sectors. Her governance experience includes board roles with Assisi Centre Aged Care, McAuley Community Services for Women, Southern Cross Housing, ACCPA WA State Council, and as a Senior Trustee at Community and Economic Development Association (CEDA).
Mark has a lengthy career in aged care leadership and community governance, including roles with Aged and Community Services Australia and Directorships with Wesley Mission Community Services and Grand Pacific Health. He also serves on the Quality Advisory Committee for Access Care Network Australia and is an aged care advisor to the Community Industry Group. He stepped down as CEO of aged care provider Warrigal in 2022 after 20 years with the organisation.
Michael (Mick) Reid AM also commenced as new Board Chair, after Dr Graeme Blackman AO stepped down after serving as the inaugural Chair.
