The land lease community operator, which is currently developing seven existing over 50s lifestyle resorts and will potentially launch six new resorts across GemLife, Living Gems and Aliria early next year, is the buyer of the site in Heritage Park from Pointcorp, in a deal brokered by Colliers Queensland Residential Development Sites division and the Healthcare and Retirement Living.
A GemLife spokesperson said it is for an approximately 300-home land lease community.
Colliers Queensland Residential Development Sites Director Brendan Hogan said there was high demand for land lease communities, being driven by Australia’s ageing population and baby boomers reaching retirement age and wanting to downsize.
