11 aged care providers ‘named and shamed’ by the regulator for failing care minute targets

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has named 27 residential aged care homes and eleven providers who have been hit with ‘enforceable undertakings’ for failing to meet their care minute targets. Nine of the 27 homes listed are operated by Tricare.

Aged Care Minister Anika Wells promoted to Cabinet for role in “most significant reforms in aged care this century”

In recognition of her successful role in getting aged care reforms through parliament, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has promoted the Minister for Aged Care Anika Wells to Cabinet as part of a pre-election reshuffle brought on by the departure of NDIS Minister Bill Shorten.
