Ambitious family-run aged care operator Signature Care has set its sights on achieving 2,200 operational beds by 2026.
With 1,102 beds currently operational, the group has 578 beds under construction at Tamworth (northern western NSW), Warragul (south east VIC), Romsey (VIC’s Macedon Ranges) and Dawesville (south of Perth).
The provider, which also builds aged care homes, owns sites in Nerang (SE QLD), Bunbury (WA), Grafton (NSW), and is looking at greenfield sites in Southeast Queensland and Victoria.
“There will always be people who need residential aged care,” Graeme previously told The SOURCE.
The key to Signature Care’s strategy is targeting locations where aged care is underserviced or homes are very old. They have also invested heavily in technology as cornerstone investors in Accredia technology, which, among other things, helps families keep up to date with the care their loved ones are receiving.
