The private aged care operator, which has 30 homes in Perth and in the south west of Western Australia, has launched a review of its employee entitlements after admitting to underpaying workers.
In April 2023, the United Workers Union informed Aegis it believed some of its employees had been receiving a casual loading when they were entitled to overtime pay.
A spokesperson for the company told The SOURCE, the company "acted promptly" to ensure all employees were receiving the correct payments under their Enterprise Agreements and launched a review.
"This review has determined that some of our employees may be entitled to receive a further payment from us," an Aegis spokesperson said
