Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) has appointed board member, Mike Christensen, Chair, effective 1 July 2024.
Mike has been on the Not For Profit's board since 2021, chairing the Finance, Audit, and Risk Committee and Property Committee. He has extensive experience in finance, property, and governance.
Outgoing Chair, Lawrie Hallinan, will remain a Director.
Mike's promotion comes as the home care, aged care, and retirement village operator revealed a new Strategic Plan.
"Our new strategic plan sets a clear path for innovation and growth, and I am excited to work with our dedicated team to achieve our goals and continue providing exceptional care and support to our community," Mike said.
Monique Reynolds, CEO of Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT), who was appointed six months ago after three months in the Interim CEO role, said, "This is a pivotal moment for Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT). With the approval of our new strategic plan, we are well-positioned for future success."
