Attention NSW aged care providers: doctors no longer need to handwrite medication orders

Visiting doctors now only have to sign and date a printed Webstercare order sheet after the practice was approved by the NSW Ministry of Health.

Webstercare estimates the change will cut doctors’ administrative duties by 60%, freeing up more time for patient care, and improving the accuracy of medication dispensing – a win for providers and residents.
