Stockland’s Halcyon Nirimba land lease community on the Sunshine Coast has won best in Seniors Living at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Queensland Awards for Excellence.
Halcyon Nirimba is located within Stockland’s $5 billion Aura masterplanned community (MPC), and according to Project Director Andrew Astorquia (pictured), is the first LLC in Australia to have deliberately been designed into an MPC.
“Our vision for Halcyon Nirimba was to create the Sunshine Coast’s best backyard for the modern senior, with the added convenience that living within a wider masterplanned community affords.
“Driving everything we do is a deep commitment to delivering an outstanding masterplanned community with quality homes and an abundance of facilities to keep our homeowners active and socially connected,” he said.
Halcyon Nirimba, which opened its clubhouse earlier this year, will comprise 244 homes when complete. Originally called Thrive Nirimba, the community was Stockland’s first LLC.
