The re-branded RSL Care (QLD), led by Steve Muggleton, has ended the year with a clear statement it intends being a national force in retirement, home care and residential care.

The Not For Profit provider has purchased the recently-redeveloped 120-bed Cabrini Care facility and an 8,300sqm development site in Sydney with approval for 64 independent living units close to the Westmead Hospital precinct.

The group will also expand its reach into Victoria in 2018, with work starting on the conversion of its St Kilda office into 81 luxury retirement units and a new co-located development including 72 aged care beds, 51 supported living apartments and 144 retirement units at Bundoora, 16km north of the Melbourne CBD.

Mr Muggleton said: “Our development work, including 21, major projects currently underway across Queensland, NSW and Victoria, focuses on creating environments that are physically, emotionally and cognitively support of our clients and their families.”
