With every stage built to date sold out, Botanica Property Group has applied to build another 125 sites in its gated land lease community in Cairns, Far North Queensland.
The 33ha site already has more than 180 sits and Botanica Lifestyle Resort director Robert Wallace told the Cairns Post it is the only over-50s development of its kind in the Cairns region and the demand remains “high”.
“People love the proximity to the beaches, the airport, the facilities at Smithfield as well as the access into town,” he said.
“We have the natural buffer zones of the hill behind us and really not much in front of us either with a nice eight hectares of trees and grass.”
The DA to Cairns Regional Council seeks continuation of the land lease village to the south.
