1 min read

Los Angeles-based CBRE Inc has purchased Perth/Sydney based Aurora project management, led by Malcolm Naylor and Jo Thorley.

Aurora specialises in planning and development of health care infrastructure, plus facility and services project management with 31 staff. Current projects include $1.8 billion hospitals in W.A. and $1.4 billion New South Wales hospitals.

The Aurora staff will join CBRE’s Australian project management team which already numbers 105 people.

As a healthcare specialist, Aurora will complement CBRE’s aged care and retirement village advisory, valuation and transaction expertise, where CBRE has also been investing heavily, recruiting Phil Smith, Shane Nicholson and George Koumoukelis on the transaction side five months ago from Colliers.

CBRE is the largest real estate services company globally, delivering US$322 billion in transactions last year. Healthcare is a major CBRE focus internationally.
