Audley Group – which has 20 villages across the UK – has announced a joint venture agreement with Danish pension company, PFA – which has a stake in Audley’s parent company – to develop 10 retirement communities with up to 250 units each and in-home care services for the Danish market.
The villages will be marketed under their own separate brand and marks Audley’s first development outside the UK.
Founder and Chief Executive Nick Sanderson said: “PFA has been a strong and supportive partner of Audley and is well-aware of the potential of this model. In line with the rest of Europe, Denmark’s ageing population provides the ideal opportunity for Audley and PFA to combine their extensive knowledge of the later living market.”
