Perth-based Roshana Care Group, which owns and operates aged care homes and retirement villages and provides mental health, disability and at home services, has bought Uralba Retirement Village and the hospital museum building in Carcoar in the NSW Central Tablelands, 260km west of Sydney.

"I spoke to Roshana on the Friday, they got on a plane on the weekend and were here on the Monday," Uralba Inc Chairman Andrew Baulch told Blayney Chronicle.

"After they inspected the facility on the Monday morning we sat down in the afternoon and thrashed out a deal."

This follows Roshana Care Group buying the 27-bed residential aged care home Lee Hostel, in Blayney, 240km west of Sydney, in July.

Roshana Care Group, whose CEO is Rosh Jalagge, is expanding rapidly. It currently has five projects:

  • New independent living facility, Midland, 16km from Perth;
  • New aged care home, Victoria Park, inner south eastern suburb of Perth;
