The retirement living operator, created when EQT Infrastructure bought Stockland Retirement Living’s 58 retirement villages in August last year, is about to release 36 new villas at its Waratah Highlands community near Bargo, 110km southwest of Sydney.
The villas – two-bedroom plus study and three-bedroom options – offer single-level access throughout to ensure ease of movement and comfort, with extra-wide hallways and showers to allow for modification if residents’ needs change.
More than 150 residents live at Levande Waratah Highlands with the new villas to be released for sale in October. It also has a renovated Community Centre with a lakeside deck equipped with communal amenities and BBQ facilities.
“In addition to our existing development pipeline, we’re always looking at potential future acquisitions, to complement our portfolio of the best homes in the right places,” Levande’s Head of Development, Calum Ross, said.
Levande is continuing to work on its new $200 million vertical retirement village with co-located aged care in the northern Sydney suburb of Epping. The 29-storey development will comprise 172 residential apartments and a 132-bed aged care home, as well as amenities such as a clubhouse, a rooftop terrace, a gym, and a private dining room for residents.
