Phil Usher says Odyssey Chevron Island will be akin to a luxury ocean liner

1 min read

Phil is taking private aged care to new heights literally with the development of his 19-storey single tower Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities Chevron Island on the Gold Coast.

“It’s incredibly exciting to see our Chevron community come to life as well as provide a sneak peek into the lifestyle that awaits our future residents, which honestly is reminiscent of a luxury liner,” said Phil of new renders for the interior.

“With construction progressing on schedule and a new development on the horizon at Hope Island, Odyssey stands as the culmination of two decades of relentless dedication to reinventing the ageing experience in Australia.”

Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities Chevon Island will consist of 167 one, two and three bedroom residences with nine penthouses with private rooftop decks available. 30% have been sold off the plan.

It will be equipped with a gourmet restaurant, pool deck, piano lounge, wine cellars, penthouses and more to come.

Marking a significant phase in the project, construction company Multiplex has installed 90 foundation piles, tied 444 tonnes of steel reinforcement and poured 3,000m3 of concrete for the Level One and Two slabs, with the Level Three slab scheduled for pouring this month.

“This will be senior living of the likes that has never been seen before,” Phil said.
