Patrick Abolakian, Director HYECORP Property Group, briefed the sold-out LEADERS SUMMIT on his family’s first venture in the ageing sector, Hyegrove Willoughby, an integrated development, 8km north of Sydney’s CBD.
Patrick drew applause when he revealed their meticulous approach led Hyecorp, with advice from Chanje Partners, to create 111 retirement living apartments and an integrated 46-suite aged care component, operating under the Retirement Village Act, set up as three small homes with kitchens, dining and lounge areas.
Over 80% of the 111 apartments, at an average price of $2.8 million ($28,000 per square metre), at the integrated care village have already sold and Patrick said it was the aim to have all apartments sold when it opens around June to August this year.
