Finalists for National Retirement Living Awards’ Best Retirement Living Development: 500+ homes

Five operators are vying for the best retirement development of over 500 independent living units with three Not For Profits in line for the tile of best retirement living development under 500 units.

Nominations for One Fell Swoop's best retirement development of over 500 independent living units are:

Chas Jacobsen's Village Glen in Capel Sound on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula;

Goodwin Village Farrer in Woden, 11km south of Canberra CBD;

Reside Communities’ Samford Grove, in Samford Village, 20kms from Brisbane CBD;

RetireAustralia's The Rise at Wood Glen, a new vertical community, in Erina, on the NSW Central Coast;

Ryman HealthCare's John Flynn Retirement Village in Burwood East, 17km east of the Melbourne CBD.    

Nominations for One Fell Swoop's best Not For Profit retirement development of under 500 independent living units are:

Cuzeno Builders and Developers' Oasis Peakhurst Retirement Apartments, 21km southwest of the Sydney CBD;  

Jackson Teece's Woolooware Shores Village, owned by Anglicare Sydney, in Taren Point 24km south of Sydney CBD;

Vasey Communities’ Kokoda Residences, built by Richard Crookes Construction, in Waitara, on Sydney's Upper North Shore, which won the UDIA Award for Excellence in Retirement Living in August 2023.

The award winners will be named at the Property Council's National Retirement Living Awards held on the Gold Coast on 27 June.
