For Purpose Warrigal to begin development of two new community villages in 2024

The Albion Park Rail-based community-owned organisation has planning and board approval to start work on redeveloping its Warilla Community Village and to build a new Lake South community village at Lake Illawarra, 90km south of Sydney’s CBD.

Warrigal stated that in September, the Southern Regional Planning Panel granted approval for its Development Application to redevelop its existing site and build 118 apartments spread across six buildings, along with modernised community activity spaces.

Lake South, its second community village in Lake Illawarra, will include 65 efficiently designed and affordable two-bedroom single level villas.
