How Levande’s Oak Grange retirement village in Brighton East, Melbourne, is going to look

1 min read

Project Manager Armitage Jones has allowed its LinkedIn followers to see the retirement village operator’s redevelopment of its site in one of Melbourne’s wealthiest suburbs.

The Weekly SOURCE reported on Tuesday, 11 February, the redevelopment of the village built in 1985 can go ahead after the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) rejected objections to Levande’s minor modifications to an approved plan lodged by Stockland prior to its sale of its retirement village arm in February 2022 to Sweden-based EQT Infrastructure

“As demand for high-quality, independent senior living continues to grow, Oak Grange will set a new standard – delivering 201 independent living units over six sustainably designed apartment buildings in Brighton East. As Project Manager and Superintendent, we’re excited to bring Levande’s vision to life in partnership with Plus Architecture, Webber Design Pty Ltd, Urbis, ADP Consulting and Arcadia Landscape Architecture,” said Armitage Jones.

“This will be our second collaboration with the team at Levande, and we’re proud to help redefine what independent living looks like for Australian seniors.”
