NSW Govt appoints Taylor Construction to build a new $34M Multipurpose Service in Blayney, west of Sydney

The new facility will be built on the existing Multipurpose Services site in Blayney, 240km west of Sydney, providing a one-stop hub for services in a new purpose-built facility.

The redevelopment will include a new residential aged care wing with single rooms and ensuites, an Inpatient Unit supporting palliative and respite care, expanded HealthOne rooms, and emergency and walk-in care services.

The Blayney MPS redevelopment project is part of the NSW Government’s $297 million MPS program, aimed at providing health and aged care services in regional, rural and remote communities that cannot support both a hospital and separate aged care home. There are 66 MPSs across eight local health districts in NSW.

Taylor Construction is an experienced healthcare builder. Construction is expected to be complete in October 2026.
