Stockland launches new 152-home land lease resort in Perth’s north but that’s not all

1 min read

The diversified property group is set to become a major operator for retirees in Western Australia.

In announcing Stockland Illyarrie, a new $171 million residential community in Perth’s northern suburbs, it has included a new Stockland Halcyon land lease community with 152 homes targeted at active seniors.

The SOURCE reported in May that the property group was looking to Western Australia after starting on four Stockland Halcyon communities in Victoria: Evergreen (in Clyde, in Melbourne’s southeast) Horizon (at Armstrong Creek, located between Geelong CBD and Torquay), Highlands (in Craigieburn, in Melbourne’s north) and Jardin (in Clyde North, in Melbourne’s southeast).

This comes after the recent launch of Stockland's first all-electric community Wildflower in the fast-growing southeast suburb of Piara Waters in Perth. It includes a Stockland Halcyon Wildflower land lease community of two- and three-bedroom homes.

5km north of Illyarrie, Stockland has additional 4000 lots in Mariginiup, including another Stockland Halcyon land lease community. The first lots are due to be released in late 2025.

That's likely to be in excess of 400 Stockland Halcyon homes in Western Australia.
