First residents move into GemLife Moreton Bay land lease lifestyle resort

The advantages of being the first to move into a land lease community or retirement village as it is being built are many.

Laurie Stevenson (pictured below) and then Glen and Wilhelmina Somerville occupied the first two homes to be built at the $340 million GemLife Moreton Bay.

House prices rise as the nearly 150ha master planned community progresses and as a goodwill gesture, the initial homeowners enjoy discounted site rent fees before the first community facilities open.

Home prices for GemLife Moreton Bay Stage One started from $785k.Stage One is nearly sold out.

There are currently 33 homes under construction, with civil works in Stage One A and B at 70% completion and earthworks continue in Stages Two, Seven and eight.
