The Port Macquarie area will soon have 35 more boutique retirement living apartments, with the new development, The Banksia, set to finish construction in March next year at Garden Village.
The Banksia – which will have 30 two-bedroom and five one-bedroom units – began construction last November, and its $20 million price tag was partially paid for by a $4.9 million injection from the Federal Government’s Building Better Regions Fund.
“Beautifully designed, bright and filled with natural light, The Banksia is a must see for comfortable and contemporary independent retirement living,” the organisation says.
The last development at Garden Village, a 52-apartment vertical building called The Cascades, was opened in November 2018.
