It is being built on land adjacent to the group’s Milpara aged care home and only two streets from its existing Pullin Court retirement village in Rostrevor, 10km east-northeast of Adelaide’s CBD.
Another eight ACH Group villages, with 189 units, are within a 5km radius of the site and it will be open to the community.
With the Marchese I Life3A designed Health Studio 95% complete, an official opening is proposed for October 2024.
It will have a similar offering to ACH Group’s existing Health Studios at Glenelg, Christie Downs, and Gilles Plains in Adelaide.
The services will include allied health, such as physiotherapy, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, podiatry, dietetics, massage, and personal training, as well as multiple exercise groups and wellness groups will be on offer, such as Life Exercise, Tai Chi, Mobility and Balance classes.
“It will cater to older South Australians who want to keep fit and healthy in a group setting – offering multiple exercise groups and wellness classes,” ACH Group CEO Linda Feldt (pictured) said.
“A key standout feature of the gym is world-class HUR equipment. The pneumatic resistance equipment is silent and smooth, allowing our expert staff to tailor an individualised exercise program for each customer, where the equipment electrically adjusts as per each customer’s exercise program."
The development will also be home to ACH Group’s community staff, allowing Rostrevor Health Studio to be a hub for support in the northeastern suburbs of Adelaide.
