Bethanie Housing has approval to build affordable houses for seniors in Dalyellup, WA

32 one-bedroom and 18 two-bedroom apartments will be provided as affordable housing after the Shire of Capel approved the development application.

“This is a significant step towards providing much-needed affordable housing for seniors in the Shire of Capel and the wider Southwest region,” said Bethanie Housing Ltd CEO Shane Ogilvie.

Funding for the project will come from a variety of sources including Bethanie, Western Australian Government, Federal Government, and private financiers.

Construction will start in early 2025.
