Queensland-based land lease developer, GemLife, said its home product at its newest venture in Moreton Bay, 34km north of Brisbane, will lead the sector.
The homes are being designed by GemLife’s in-house designers and building team.
“They are on blocks larger than typical and there will be a feeling of space,” said GemLife Director of Sales and Marketing, Andrew Coulter.
“There will be pathways between the homes and there will be nothing behind the houses.”
When complete there will be 553 homes, all having an outlook onto either a lake or parkland.
It will be a seven-star energy rated resort.
“It will be sustainable and anyone who buys into the resort will know that the power they use will be renewable power and their bills will be 60% or more less than normal,” Andrew said.
The first residents are expected to move into their properties in early 2024.
