The challenge of redeveloping ‘old’ villages to be customer-attractive and release location value.
IRT Group CEO, Patrick Reid, says the organisation is seeking feedback from residents and other stakeholders as it explores options for a staged redevelopment of the site, which was originally built during the 1970s (pictured).
The retirement village currently features 68 one- and two-bedroom apartments and sits less than two blocks back from the popular Towradgi Beach in Wollongong (78 kilometres south of Sydney CBD).
It is a tight residential street site, with a maximum building height of two levels.
