The Chair of the Labor Government’s Aged Care Taskforce, Minister Wells will play a key role in the Government’s response to its recommendations – including the take up of Plan B, or increased consumer contributions to aged care accommodation and daily living expenses. At the Aged and Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA) National Conference in October, the Minister confirmed her commitment to an uplift in funding – and less red tape – for the sector.
