The United Kingdom is expected to be treating 20% of its patients at home by 2025 – in the US, that figure is 13%. In Australia, just 5% of patients receive hospital treatment at home.

The funding models for Hospital in the Home (HITH) here have failed to keep up with the changing delivery of healthcare services.
