The CEO says he may have aged 10 years in the last six months trying to get the new Aged Care Act Bill into Parliament – but his work is far from complete.

With the newly hard-won respect of Government, Aged and Community Care Providers Association – soon to be Ageing Australia – CEO Tom Symondson won’t be taking a break post-Aged Care Taskforce as he looks to guide the sector through the reform rollout.

A key member of the Taskforce, Tom was credited by Minister for Aged Care, Anika Wells, at last year’s National Conference with bringing facts to the table.
