The gold rush grows with land lease now 20% of new US investment into Australia

Land lease communities are now a $13.5 billion investment – and growing – despite softening returns.

Demand for land lease communities is forecast to continue to exceed supply for years to come – and investors are getting in now to profit from the ‘gold rush’.

Offshore investment from the US into Australia increased by 58% to $2.55 billion in the 12 months to June 2024, with 20% of that going into land lease, according to Colliers’ latest Global Capital Flows Report.
