It took two digital natives foreign to home care to create the sector’s first human digital solution that has now delivered 1.7 million hours of direct care from a standing start eight years ago.
When Nathan Betteridge and Simon Lockyer established Five Good Friends in 2016, AI was not known. They however strategised that collecting and utilising data points on every home care service visit would build a far better, tailored service to both home care clients and their workforce.
On day one, they employed engineers to build a system that was based on continuous improvement, utilising this data.
They state that they now leverage technology to make us more human.
