The new Support at Home program will demand that home care providers have scale and efficiency to deliver quality care and maintain their financial margins. With over 250 partnerships with operators already in place and lower margins, Mable is well-positioned to capitalise on the demand for quality staff.
With success in the new program dependent on staffing, home care providers currently have two options: increase their own workforce – a significant investment in recruitment – or use agencies – which can charge up to 50% more on the hourly rate of labour – to address workforce shortages.
With a fee of 16.6%, Mable is delivering workers at a lower cost for operators, while putting more cash back into the pockets of workers, who received around $10 more an hour under their model – a win-win-win for the platform, its workers, and traditional providers and their clients.
