I had a privileged, deep view of the Aged Care Royal Commission, attending every session across the country (except Broome). My strongest memory was a frustrated Commissioner Lynelle Briggs who kept asked CEOs whether the sector could find the “energy and excitement” to drive real change.

The response? CEOs stated they are tired, suffering ‘reform fatigue’. It did not go down well.
