Mid-sized residential aged care providers face a particular set of challenges when it comes to navigating the changing regulatory landscape, workforce shortages, and the need to innovate – but there is a ‘sweet spot’ that can deliver the benefits of scale without compromising on ‘community’.

Medium-sized operators with 800 to 1,200 beds have the good balance of resources and the ability to maintain personal, direct relationships with staff and residents necessary to stay viable in the shifting aged care landscape, the 2025 LEADERS SUMMIT has heard.
