DCM Institute (DCMI) is proud to announce industry veteran and Aveo alumnus James Wiltshire as its new Executive Director.
Bringing more than two decades of senior retirement village management to the DCM Institute leadership role, James comes from Aveo, where he held a range of roles across territory operational management, strategic management, Head of Resident Experience, and finally General Manager, Portfolio Management. He holds a Masters of Commerce and Economics, specialising in Human Resource Management.
With over 500 DCM Institute Members, James is tasked to continue to raise the expertise of DCMI’s course programs and expand the breadth of topics, networking support, and education and development of village professionals.
Prior to Aveo, James headed Operations for Vision Lifestyle Projects for eight years, both managing villages and consulting across project sales, marketing, and strategic planning, with notable skills in the coaching and mentoring of operational staff.
James is currently touring the country as part of the DCM Institute’s annual VILLAGE SUMMIT program.
