Jewish Care to offload four-storey aged care home in Melbourne’s inner-south

1 min read

Goldfields Group is reportedly in exclusive due diligence for the Not For Profit’s four-level aged care facility in Windsor, 5km southeast of Melbourne’s CBD.

The 0.43-hectare site includes a large open-air car park, and Goldfields plans to turn it into a 260-unit residential and mixed-use development.

Colliers International marketed the site at $30-40 million, but the sale price is yet to be disclosed.

Jewish Care reportedly moved to sell in late June, and started moving residents to the provider’s nine-level Hannah and Daryl Cohen building.

As we reported here, the provider had also moved 93 residents from its Montefiore Home aged care home into the building earlier this year.

And in 2018, the Not For Profit offloaded its Caulfield North site to fund its development pipeline.
