Kevin McCoy has left his role as Group Executive of Australian Unity’s Independent & Assisted Living after more than 10 years at the helm.
Australian Unity announced on Tuesday the Independent & Assisted Living division will be split into two.
“As part of this transformation, Kevin McCoy, current Group Executive – IAL, has decided to leave the group after more than 10 years of service in senior roles,” Australian Unity told the ASX.
Australian Unity’s Group Managing Director Rohan Mead said he is “grateful to Kevin McCoy for his significant contributions to the Group in a range of senior roles, including as CFO and as the inaugural leader of the Independent & Assisted Living platform – where his tenure included the very significant purchase and integration of the home care services of the NSW Government”.
Kevin, who was inaugural chair of the Aged Care Workforce Industry Council, drove Australian Unity’s acquisition of Home Care NSW, which was three times of the size of Australian Unity with 50,000 customers and 4,500 staff.
