Keyton to expand The Grove with waitlists at its three retirement villages in the ACT

1 min read

The retirement village operator will add 45 new single level two- and three-bedroom villas to the The Grove in Ngunnawal.

The extension will see the village grow from its current 161 to a 206 villas precinct including a co-located 124-bed aged care facility to be delivered by Arcare aged care.

Keyton, which will be the nation's biggest village operator when Aveo sells its South Australian and Tasmanian villages, will also restore and repurpose original elements of the historical Gold Creek Homestead, converting it into a multi-purpose space with an arts and craft studio amongst its extensive grounds.

“This new extension will revitalise it with new villas and amenities,” Head of Development Jason Fitzgerald said.

“Importantly, it adds much needed retirement living capacity to the nation’s capital at a time when there are already extensive waitlists for Keyton properties in the region.”
