Two arrested for vandalising a retirement village in NSW’s Hunter Valley

A 19-year-old teenager and man, 20, have been arrested and charged after a lengthy investigation into two crimes, including a graffiti attack on a retirement village in North Rothbury, where fire extinguishers were discharged throughout the property on July 13. 

The 19-year-old man faces malicious damage and graffiti charges, and two counts of break and enter and steal. He was refused bail to face Singleton Local Court last Wednesday. 

The man, 20, was charged with an aggravated graffiti offence, malicious damage, and concealing a serious offence. He was granted strict bail by Singleton Police to front court on 19 September.
