Lend Lease is in advanced negotiations with local governments in Shanghai to get land and approval to build a staged 800 unit seniors living project.
They see Shanghai as being a Tier One international city with a population of 24 million people. They have been studying the retirement market in China for three years and expect to establish and build a significant retirement living business.
