Lendlease has begun construction on the first of three apartment buildings, as well as a $5 million clubhouse, at its Kingfisher Grove retirement village in Sydney’s west.
Located at Jordan Springs near Penrith, Kingfisher Grove’s apartment buildings will include 139 open-plan one-, two- and three-bedroom units with basement parking and storage.
Only 20 off-the-plan apartments remain available in the first building due to strong demand.
The new 1,350 square metre clubhouse will feature amenities such as heated indoor pool, cinema, gym, bar, library, and indoor bowls. According to Nathan Cockerill, Managing Director for Retirement Living at Lendlease (pictured), it will build on the resort-style facilities available to residents.
“Our focus for Lendlease Retirement Living is to provide sustainable living solutions for Australia’s fastest-growing demographic that enable choice, connection and a place to live those golden years to their fullest.
“The new apartment buildings will expand on the already close-knit community, and we know residents are thrilled to be getting a beautiful new clubhouse with all its facilities nearby as a place to socialise, relax and enjoy living well,” he said.
