Living Choice finally turns first sod on Galston retirement village

1 min read

Living Choice has broken ground on its new 88-home retirement village at Galston in Sydney’s north.

The village, which received development approval in September 2021 after a protracted five-year process, is expected to have similar prices to Living Choice’s other nearby village at Glenhaven; however, prices will not be set until the first slabs are poured in early 2023 due to the increasing cost of building supplies.

According to Ian Tregoning, Director at Living Choice (pictured), construction will start on the nine Stage 1 villas shortly thereafter.

“The land we bought in early 2016 had approval for more homes, but what our design team has come up with is less homes and a magnificent leisure centre that will tick all the boxes.

“We have motivated sales and construction teams and we will be building the villas as quickly as possible,” he said.

Living Choice had initially planned 95 homes for the site, which will now comprise 40 villas and 48 apartments plus leisure centre.
