More than 110 people enjoyed champagne and canapes as Living Choice unveiled a full-size, replica display apartment to promote Living Choice Parkwood, a 210-apartment retirement community to be built at Parkwood Golf Course on the Gold Coast.

Living Choice Parkwood, marketed as 'Golf resort living for the un-retiring’, is Living Choice’s 11th retirement village and its first on the Gold Coast. It will be located within The Club at Parkwood Village’ precinct, a sporting, entertainment and wellness destination which is popular with people of all ages.

State MP Sam O’Connor, Councillors William Owen-Jones and Ryan Bayldon-Lumsden joined Living Choice directors Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs to cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the display apartment and adjacent sales office. Both are located at the club entrance.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom display apartment showcases the Kestrel design, one of 12 designs that will be available in the first two buildings, named the Lexington and the Columbus.

The first two buildings, comprising 74 apartments, will be built in Stage 1, along with a clubhouse for village residents. A leisure centre and further apartments will be built in Stage 2.

At the official opening, director Ian Tregoning said Living Choice Parkwood would offer a wide choice of apartment designs, views and prices.

“Whether you are looking for an ultra-luxurious penthouse or a modern one-bedroom apartment, there is something to suit everyone.”

“Your children and grandchildren will love visiting – there is so much on offer here,” said Mr Hobbs.

Construction on the village is expected to commence in September 2021, subject to the necessary building approvals.
