RetireAustralia is enjoying high demand for the final release of units in its Forresters Beach retirement village on the NSW Central Coast, with a waitlist more than double the amount of available units.
The operator has released 12 new units starting at $550,000, but says there are 25 people on the waitlist, with two deposits already secured. When completed, the village will have capacity for 450 residents spread among one-, two- and three-bedroom units.
Speaking to Coast Community News, RetireAustralia CEO Brett Robinson (pictured) said he was excited to see how much the village has grown over its 20-year life.
“The property boom most certainly will play a key factor in the overall sell, but what we have seen in the past and at this present moment is the villas at Forresters Beach are incredibly popular; we’re consistently getting inquiries about this village,” he said.
The last release at Forresters Beach was in 2017, which also sold out at a rapid clip.
