New owner for Kenilworth Gardens Retirement Village in Bowral, NSW

1 min read

Situated on 4.8ha of Old English Gardens, the 40-year-old luxury village has been sold through Justin Hazell, Director, Healthcare & Retirement Living, at Colliers.

The village operates 67 independent living villas/units, consisting of large two-bedroom villas and one-bedroom units with 15 serviced apartments and one respite room, with a DA for a further six large apartment style units.

The retirement village, owned by Iain Gray, has been bought by a local businessman who has appointed John Wall as Village Operator. John was Village Manager at Pepperfield Lifestyle Resort Bowral for almost 12.5 years.

"We have kept most of the staff except for the management. They were very good at what they did but a little stuck in their ways," said John, who said he has been described as a "breath of fresh air" by residents.

The transaction was announced on 13 January.
