20 apartments - two one-bedroom and 18 two-bedroom ranging from 88m/sq to 220m/sq, including terraces/balconies- will form what is being called boutique retirement living 6km southeast of Melbourne’s CBD.
The development is owned by two private Sydney families who also own the hotel behind the village site. We understand this is their first retirement village.
There also is a large lounge room, a theatre to relax or watch a movie on a 100inch TV screen, a formal dining/function room that can seat up to 60 people, a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, a landscaped garden with an inbuilt BBQ area.
The village, which is targeted at Jewish retirees, has an adjoining kitchen designed to meet kosher needs. There will be a concierge and a facility manager.
